The Unified Field, as David Lynch describes it, is the source of everything, and therefore allows things that are not necessarily supposed to fit together do so.
Just like the music with a collage of emotions and styles, the photography for the album was created form a series of oil and water experiments, allowing two things that are not supposed to mix, come together and create something new.
